Deep Workshop at Deepspot
Join us for a freediving masterclass in Europe’s deepest pool. During these two days, we will share:
Two LECTURES on the technical aspects of freediving: understanding EQ/mastering mouthfill with 5 × World Record holder DAVID MELLOR; and training periodisation, stretching & injury avoidance.
Dry EQ training drills and in-water skills.
Three POOL SESSIONS to consolidate the skills under the guidance of our three coaches.
One BREATHWORK session with MARTIN PETRUS.

Who can join?
This workshop is for anyone who has some experience of freediving and would like to deepen their understanding under the guidance of our experience coaches.
If you are unsure if this trip is for you just drop us a line and we will gladly talk you through it.
Where is the Deepspot?
Deepspot is located in Mszczonów 40km from Warsaw. With 45m of depth it is the deepest pool in Europe and second deepest in the world.
Accomodation
We will be staying in Ojrzanow Palace which is located about 35km from Central Warsaw and 19km from Deepspot.

How to get here?
Fly into Warsaw (WAW). (Chopin Airport not Modlin)
Travel by car:
Warsaw airport > Hotel ~ 30min
Warsaw Centre > Hotel ~ 40min (depending on traffic)
Taxi:
Taking an Uber from the airport to the hotel costs round £45 You can use Uber, Bolt or FreeNow. We can also arrange transport for you.
Price: £650 pp
The price includes accommodation, two dinners and breakfasts, coaching, training tools and equipment hire. It does not include flights / transport.
There is an option for single occupancy rooms. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
You need to have your own dive computer or alternatively, you can rent one for £8/session on arrival.

Freediving
Every dive session will be tailored to your individual needs, in small groups you will work on your own goals and receive invaluable feedback.
Dry training
Our dry sessions will include drills, skills and mobility, as well as specific lectures..
Breathwork
Martin’s breathwork practice is designed to aid relaxation, increase focus and boost physical performance. We will start from the basics so no experience is necessary.

Day 1 (Thursday):

14:30 - 16:00 – Dry training 1
16:30 - 18:00 – Depth session 1

Diving Conditions
Four lines which go to 45m + 3 buoys which go to 20m. The water is fed by a thermal spring and the temperature averages 30-33C.
Diving is only allowed in swim suits. Neoprene wetsuits are not allowed in Deepspot.
Equipment
Deepspot provides basic equipment like masks, snorkels, fins, lanyards, floats, but you are welcome to bring any of your own equipment (except for wetsuit). If you don’t have a dive computer then you can rent one at Deepspot for £8/session.
Food
The workshop includes two dinners and two breakfasts. For lunch, Deepspot has its own (quite good) restaurant that serves food and a nice variety of PB cakes! There are also small local grocery stores.
Transport
We recommend hiring a car at the airport. You can use the website rentalcars.com or happycar.pl to get the best prices.
Taking an Uber or Bolt from the airport to the hotel should cost around £45 and takes about 30 minutes. Prices can very depending on the time of day so best to check both apps.
Accommodation:
We will be staying for two nights in the historic Ojrzanów Palace. We have a selection of Standard and Deluxe rooms, all equipped with bathrooms.
There is an option for single occupancy. These rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
